The Return Of School Swimming at The Hive
It's been over a year since The Hive was forced to close due to Covid-19 restrictions and subsequently shut it’s doors on school swimming lessons for children in key stage two. We are now delighted to announce that we are welcoming back a number of schools within our community, to get back to their regular swim lessons.
We are very proud to be able to offer school children in our local community, access to learn such an incredibly valuable life skill in this way, which some children may not otherwise not have access to.
This will enable over two hundred and fifty children to improve their swimming skills and be safe around water, with the summer holidays fast approaching.
Between now and until the end of the school term there will be a few changes to the timetable for the swimming pool as a result of the school swim sessions; this is the foundation for supporting the future of the community, to be able to swim and have access to the pool at The Hive.
With versatility and adaptability within the programming structure, there is a multitude of available sessions still available for our lane swimming customers as well as swim for all sessions; enabling The Hive to be able to host activities for all within the community.
