Swimming

Swimming is a great way to stay active and improve your overall health, whatever your age or level of ability. We offer many weekly sessions, including lane and family swimming.

For those who want to learn how to swim or improve their technique, our swim school offers a wide range of sessions, from baby and parent to adult sessions.

Things to remember for your visit:

  • We recommend you pre-book to avoid disappointment
  • Pool changing room lockers take tokens/£1 returnable, gym changing room lockers use a padlock (pool is still accessible from gym change)
  • No more than 2 under 8's or non-swimmers 11-17 to each competant adult swimmer.

Swim for Fitness

Our 30m pool offers 5-lane swimming sessions with a choice of slow, medium and fast options available to suit your needs and abilities. Whether you want to practice your strokes, relax or train for an event, there is a space for everyone.

We will generally have a double width slow lane, double width medium lane and single width fast lane available during these sessions.

Swim for All

Spend some valuable time with family and friends in an active way. These sessions are great fun and allow everyone to splash and swim around, whatever your level of ability.

The pool will have one lane available for those that want to do lengths but the rest of the pool will remain lane free for everyone else to enjoy and have fun.

We operation a seperate booking for both the main pool and teaching pool so please make a note of the location when booking.

Family Fun Swim

At Wimbledon Leisure Centre & Spa, we believe that swimming should be fun and exciting for all the family.

Turn up the excitement during our Family Fun Swims with music! Splash around with your family and create memories with plenty of larges floats, noodles, balls, goals and sinkers. All available to entertain everyone.

It's a fun place to spend quality time with your children.

Swim for 60+

Enjoy the peace and quiet of the pool at Wimbledon Leisure Centre & spa during our Swim For 60+ sessions. Every Thursday morning from 10am - 11:00am the pool is dedicated for the older aged members of our community.

Adult swimming programme

It's never too late to start. Whether you are a beginner or already an advanced swimmer looking to improve your technique, our adult swimming lessons offer options for everyone. Join one of our two groups and start your Adult swimming lessons - aimed at those who want to learn the basics or need a refresher, and Adult swimming coaching - aimed at more advanced swimmers looking to improve their skills.

Swim School

Our swim school offers a wide range of sessions for ages from 3 years old onward. With various stages available to choose from, we provide affordable lessons for all levels and abilities. From Pre-school and Foundation to Development and Academy, there are many levels available to suit your child's skill level and allow them to enjoy every second of their swimming journey.
