Another fantastic bowls season at King George V for Parkside Bowls Club

Parkside Bowls Club - End of season results!

Parkside Bowls Club had another fantastic season at King George V Playing Fields.

Parkside Greens won the 1st Division in the Welwyn Hatfield League, with BSP - KGV's other resident club, finishing as runner's up.

Parkside Woods had their best season so far finishing 3rd in the 2nd Division.

Our newly promoted men's team consolidated their position in Division 2 of the East Herts League.

On Saturday 14th September, the Welwyn Hatfield Finals were held at WGC Bowls Club, with Parkside Greens and BSP competing in 3 finals. Sadly the Greens were runners up to Datchworth in the John Brown Trophy losing by 3 shots. Alan Croshaw lost to David Heggarty Of WGC In the Jock Hunter Singles. BSP also narrowly missed out in the Fours Competition to WGC Knights.

All in all 2019 has been an excellent season for both Parkside and BSP playing from King George V Bowls Green.
