You may bring your own kayak or canoe along to our lake but only for use during one of our supervised GO Kayak sessions.

Why not try our Go! Kayak sessions? Get out on the water and enjoy the view. We provide Kayaks, wetsuits & buoyancy aids or bring your own if you prefer. These exciting sessions, are for competent level paddlers. This is a group session. If required, one of our experienced coaches will run through the essential techniques to get you manoeuvring your craft with ease.
£12.50 for 60 minutes - Bookable 6 days in advance
Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow time to change and maximise your time on the water

Go Paddle

Paddle Courses - Youth
Intro to Paddlesports - Youth
(8 to 16 years)
This is a perfect course for young people who want to gain some basic knowledge in paddle sports. This course is designed for people that have never paddled before or people who want to develop more confidence in their new hobby in a safe and supportive environment. The session is a balance of learning through games, practice and discussion to help develop basic paddle skills, water safety and an understanding of equipment. Participants will have an opportunity to try paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing.
3 hour course - £35

Intro to Kayaking - Adult
(16+ years)
This is a perfect course for those who want to gain some basic knowledge in kayaking. This course is designed for people that have never paddled before or people who want to develop more confidence in their new hobby in a safe and supportive environment. We will look at developing good paddling habits including basic paddle skills, water safety and equipment use.
We provide kayaks, wetsuits & buoyancy aids for you, just bring a change of clothes and some closed toe shoes that you don't mind getting wet.

Paddle Safer
Adults
Go Paddling Paddle Safer is a British Canoeing approved course, designed for anyone new to, or relatively inexperienced at paddling, wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of paddling safely in a sheltered water environment, in or on the craft that they paddle. Course content will cover kayaks, canoes & stand up paddleboards.
‘Supporting the paddler’ is the main focus of the course, encouraging individuals to consider where they paddle, the equipment they use and provide practical solutions if they get into difficulty.
3 hours - £36
