Better, the UK’s largest provider of public tennis, is teaming with Local Tennis Leagues to provide friendly, competitive tennis for people of all levels, at locations across the country – without having to join a tennis club.
Better, the customer brand of GLL, the UK’s largest leisure charitable social enterprise, is inviting people to enjoy tennis at their local participating Better facility, enjoying a fun, but competitive game, with people of a similar standard, thanks to a popular format, introduced by Local Tennis Leagues.
By utilising a flexible model, Local Tennis Leagues allows players to play when and where they like, meaning tennis can now fit into even the busiest of schedules.
Barry Cawte, National Tennis Manager, GLL said: “Our partnership with Local Tennis Leagues ties in with Better’s aim of getting more people more active, more often, through accessible and affordable activities.
“The format allows people of all abilities to enjoy tennis at their local facility, in a fun and friendly way. The flexible nature of the matches brings new people into competitive tennis who don't need to be part of a traditional tennis club.”
Local Tennis Leagues are now operating at Better venues across Tower Hamlets. To find your nearest Local Tennis Leagues venue, visit www.localtennisleagues.com/leagues or for more information on tennis at Better facilities across the UK, visit www.better.org.uk/tennis.
