Tennis for Kids is back in 2017 bigger and better than before. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) initiative returns this April with the aim of reaching 20,000 children aged between five and eight across the United Kingdom.
Tennis for Kids is a free introductory course packed with fun games and activities to inspire children to pick up the wonderful sport of tennis.
With specially trained and qualified coaches these six week courses provide the perfect platform for children new to tennis to learn the basics in a fun, safe and friendly environment.
From how to hold a racket to developing a rally, your kid will learn all the essentials that are key to falling in love with tennis.
Kids will be provided with a free tennis racket for the duration of the course, or forever if they attend regaularly and the opportunity to keep playing at the venue after the course.
As a key partner of the LTA we are holding Tennis for Kids courses at 11 different centres and facilities around the UK, which can be viewed below.
