We would like to thank all of our customers for their support during this challenging time. Our CEO, Mark Sesnan wished to share an update on how we will continue to move forward - together.


To our valued customers...

Firstly, may I take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and staying with us. Your custom is important to us and without you we would not have a business.

I am pleased to be able to report that we have now been able to reopen the majority of our leisure centres across England, Cardiff and Belfast and that we are working hard with our local authority partners to resolve the remaining centres that are not yet open.

As of today, we are also pleased to let you know that our centres are able to remain open in all areas albeit there may be some local variations to programmes to meet local Covid regulation changes.

We have worked hard to make our centres Covid Secure, you will have seen:

  • Social distancing layouts, less kit, wider pool lanes, more space all round
  • One way systems
  • Pre-booked sessions only, cashless admission
  • Enhanced cleaning and better ventilation

All our staff have also had Covid Secure training.

We ask you to help us by cleaning equipment after use, by turning up on time for activities, (not early or late) and by keeping to your session time (except in the gym at off peak times when you can stay longer if we are not busy).

We also need your help in reminding your friends, your work colleagues, your Councillors and your Members of Parliament that your leisure centre provides an essential local service in providing a safe opportunity for everyone to protect their physical and mental health at an affordable price.

This is particularly important as enhanced lockdowns in response to the virus are deployed across the UK and decisions are taken whether or not to close leisure facilities. Having your gym or pool closed during a winter lockdown is not going to be good for mind or body!

Another issue you could assist us with, is in respecting the booking system and making sure that if you cannot attend your booking you cancel well in advance. We really need 12 hours notice of cancellation if we are to let someone else have your activity slot.
