Better in partnership with Hackney Council, are making it even easier for you to meet your health and fitness goals. With affordable membership options exclusively for Hackney Council employees, there’s no better time to take advantage of a Better Health and Fitness memberships.
Joining the scheme is quick and easy;
There are three joining periods throughout the year. Membership begins on 1 January, 1 April or 1 September.

*Submissions made outisde of these periods will not be considered
It is important that you check carefully what you are applying for before you submit your application. The circumstances under which you can cancel or change the membership are very limited. Please feel free to visit any of the leisure centres before you apply for membership so that you are fully aware of their locations and the facilities available.

We have four membership options available to you on the Hackney Council Better membership scheme;
12 month Better Health UK Membership (National) - £48 per month on average (£576 a year)
ACCESS > Gym, Swimming, Fitness Classes, Health Suite*, Racquets**
Membership benefits: Weekly Racquets- 1 per week
*Excludes access to Spa Experience.
** Excludes Tennis, Excludes all Racquets in Islington & Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
12 month Better Health Uk Plus Spa Membership - £94.50 per month on average (£1134 a year)
ACCESS > Gym, Swimming, Fitness Classes, Health Suite, Thermal Spa
Membership benefits: Daily Racquets- 1 per day, Daily Creche - 1 per day
12 month Better Health Hackney Membership - £35 per month on average (£420 a year)
ACCESS > Gym, Swimming, Fitness Classes, Health Suite*
12 month Better Swim Membership (National) - £35 per month on average (£420 a year)
ACCESS > Swim at over 140 indoor pools & outdoor lidos
