April Closure for Essential Maintenance

There will be a planned closure for essential maintenance at Jesus Green Lido from Tuesday 2nd April and will reopen on Saturday 4th May 2024. Please note that the time frame for completing the works is dependent on the weather so the re-opening date may be subject to change.

Your membership will be valid at the other centres in the Cambridge Partnership, including Abbey Leisure Complex and Parkside Pools & Gym, for the period that Jesus Green Lido is closed. We appreciate your support in keeping your membership active during this time, as it allows us to complete critical maintenance to keep the Lido running.

During the closure we will be draining the pool, fixing & re-painting the tank amongst many other tasks, ready for the summer season. If you are interested in assisting we are looking for volunteers to join the Friends of Jesus Green team to help us with various small works around the facility.

The main task we aim to achieve over these three weeks is fixing the pool tank, this requires us to drain the pool, fix the concrete and lining, re-paint and re-fill. Before the facility opened year round this was performed at the beginning of every season. If we are unable to complete these renovations due to the weather we may change the closed period as rain and cold weather can prevent us painting.
