Fairwater Leisure Centre Set for Major Internal Improvements

Fairwater Leisure Centre is set to benefit from a programme of internal improvement works, commencing during the week of 24 August 2026, as part of continued investment in the Centre and its long-term future.

The four-week programme will focus on addressing longstanding water damage within the building and will include the replacement of ceiling tiles, new lighting and associated electrical works.

The improvements follow the successful completion of major external works, including the installation of a new roof and solar panels. Together, these investments will help improve the Centre’s sustainability and overall environment for customers and colleagues.

Throughout the works, the Centre will continue to operate, with every effort being made to minimise disruption and maintain services and facilities wherever possible. Some areas may be affected temporarily as individual elements of the work are completed.

Customers are asked to bear with us during this period while we balance the necessary building works with the continued operation of the Centre.
