The Hive's 8th Birthday!
It's our birthday!
Join us in celebrating The Hive turning 8 by sharing your best memories at our centre. This could be anything from hitting a goal in the gym, swimming a long distance in the pool or even a friendly conversation with our staff that made you feel welcome and appreciated.
To enter our Prize Draw:
To enter our birthday prize draw, simply comment on our Facebook and Instagram birthday post with your favourite memory at The Hive. One lucky winner will receive a £25 Love2shop voucher! The Prize Draw commences at 12:01am on 11/05/2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 18/05/2026. After the closing date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted. The winner will be notified by direct message. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

Prize Draw Full Terms and Conditions
Prize Draw
The Hive Leisure Centre. The Hive 8th Birthday prize Draw.
Promoter
GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited), Middlegate House, The Royal Arsenal, London, SE18 6SX.
Prize Draw Period
The Prize Draw commences at 12:01am on 11/05/2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 18/05/2026. After the closing date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.
Eligible Entrants
Entry is only open to UK residents of any age.
If age limit applies, add:

If you are under 18 years old, you represent and warrant to GLL by entering this competition that your parents/guardians have consented to your entry and to these terms and conditions, which they have read.

Entry Mechanic
To enter the Prize Draw, Eligible Entrants must, during the Prize Draw Period, leave a comment sharing their favourite memory created at the Hive on the corresponding Facebook and Instagram post.
Entry Limit
Only one entry will be accepted per person.
Draw
All entries received by the Promoter during the Prize Draw Period will be entered into the draw. The draw to determine the winner will take place at 14:00 on 21/05/2026. The winner will be picked at random using an online random number generator.
Unclaimed Prize Draw
In the event of any unclaimed prize(s), the Promoter will hold an unclaimed prize draw at 14:00 on 28/05/2026 to award the prize if unclaimed by that date.
Notification
Winners will be notified by direct message by 14:30 on 21/05/2026. Entrants are responsible for having ongoing access to the relevant inbox. GLL’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Publication
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. The first name of the winner in the Draw will be published on the Promoter’s website/social media page on 12:00 on 29/05/2026.
Use Of Data
Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
Prize(s)
The first eligible entry randomly drawn in the Draw from all entries received during the Prize Draw Period will win one Love2shop voucher between Facebook and Instagram.
Prizes are subject to availability, and GLL reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Prize Distribution
The Prizes will be provided to the winner within fourteen days of the relevant Draw date via a nominated email detailing the particulars for prize redemption.
Total Maximum Prize Value
Total maximum value of all Prize(s) awarded in the Prize Draw is up to £25. No cash alternative is available.

Right To Amend or Cancel
GLL shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions. Such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. GLL also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control. GLL reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the Prize Draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
