Changing Room Improvements at Oasis Sports Centre
We’re pleased to share that we’ll soon be making significant improvements to our swimming pool changing facilities. Due to some urgent maintenance needs, we’ll be starting with the male changing rooms, giving them a well-deserved refresh to create a brighter, more comfortable and more sustainable space for everyone to enjoy.
From next week, the male changing rooms will be transformed with upgrades designed to better support families, children and all our customers.
What’s changing in the male changing rooms?
The improvements will include:
- Enhanced shower areas with increased privacy, helping to make the space more inclusive and family-friendly
- Toilets relocated to a more convenient and accessible location
- A larger, more open changing room layout
- New private changing cubicles – ideal for children and family changing
- Brand-new flooring and ceilings
- Upgraded lockers for added comfort and security
Temporary Disruptions
From Wednesday 21 January, the male changing rooms will be temporarily closed for approximately 12 weeks while this work takes place. During this time, we’ve put alternative options in place to minimise disruption:
- A section of the female changing room will be temporarily divided to allow customers to change
- Dry-side changing rooms will be available
- You’re welcome to arrive swim-ready if that works best for you
- Outdoor changing cubicles are also available next to the sauna
Our team will be on hand to help guide you during this period.
Female changing room upgrades
Once the male changing rooms are complete and the dividing wall is removed, we’ll move on to upgrading the female changing rooms, delivering similar improvements to the shower areas, lockers, cubicles, vanity areas and toilets.
We understand that refurbishment works can cause some inconvenience, and we really appreciate your patience and understanding. We’re confident the end result will be modern, spacious changing facilities that our members can enjoy for many years to come.
Thank you for bearing with us while we make these improvements. We’ll keep this page updated with the latest news and progress, so please check back regularly for updates.
