Ashburton Hall Offers Free ‘Cool Space’ for the Community This Summer
Ashburton Hall is providing a free 'Cool Space' for anyone seeking respite from high temperatures this summer.
The initiative has been introduced to support the health and wellbeing of local residents during periods of hot weather, particularly those who may be more vulnerable to the effects of heat, including older people, young children and individuals with underlying health conditions.
Open to everyone, the Cool Space offers a welcoming, comfortable environment where visitors can relax, cool down and access a range of free facilities, including:
Free drinking water
Comfortable seating areas
Free public Wi-Fi
Phone and device charging facilities (where available)
As part of Better's commitment to supporting healthier, stronger communities, Ashburton Hall provides a safe and accessible place for residents to escape the heat while remaining connected to local services and activities.
Visitors can also find out more about the range of community activities, events and wellbeing opportunities taking place at the venue throughout the year.
