Exciting improvements coming to Lewisham Leisure Centres

We're investing almost £3 million across our Lewisham leisure centres to create even better spaces for fitness, family fun and community wellbeing.
Major improvement works will be taking place at Glass Mill Leisure Centre and Forest Hill Pools, bringing upgraded gyms, brand-new soft play facilities, enhanced customer areas and improved experiences for everyone who visits.
While these exciting improvements are underway, both centres will remain open, and we are committed to keeping disruption to a minimum.
What's happening?
Glass Mill Leisure Centre
As part of a £1.5 million investment, Glass Mill Leisure Centre will benefit from:
- A significantly expanded and refurbished gym, increasing from approximately 70 to 110 fitness stations
- A brand-new three-tier soft play facility
- Dedicated new party rooms
- New fitness equipment throughout the gym
- Refreshed branding and upgraded environments
Forest Hill Pools
Through a £1.4 million investment, Forest Hill Pools will receive:
- A redesigned entrance and reception area
- A brand-new soft play facility
- An expanded gym with new state-of-the-art equipment
- A new fitness studio
- Improved customer flow throughout the centre

Please note that all works will be completed in phases, allowing both centres to remain operational throughout the improvement programme.
