The London Aquatics Centre welcomes the Super League Triathlon Arena Games powered by Zwift.

On the 27th of March 2021 the London Aquatics Centre proudly welcomed the Super League Triathlon the worlds premier swim-bike-run series featuring the best triathletes on the planet.

"SLT is a dynamic new format which blends in real life and virtual racing to deliver a unique viewing experience". The first event of its kind and the first triathlon event held solely inside the Aquatics Centre.

Throughout the day we got to see four fuel packed races each with three stages, each combining 200m swims, 4km bike and 1km runs with points to be collected from each stage. Races included mixed para triathletes, elite female and elite males battling it out for first place.

Great Britain's Beth Potter won the womens elite race with GLL's Sport Foundation Athlete Lucy Charles-Barclay coming in second and Sophie Coldwell taking third place.

Belgiums Marten van Riel wins the mens elite race with Germany's Justus Nieschlag taking second. Great Britain's Jonny Brownlee and Alex Yee take joint third place.
