This month, the London Aquatics Centre will be hosting the International Swimming League (ISL).

The International Swimming League (ISL) is a brand-new event that will change the world of swimming. The inaugural season will see a full series of worldwide events taking place across the year, stopping off at the London Aquatics Centre for a two-day spectacular. The four European teams will go head to head in this derby match on 23 and 24 November. Teams are made up of athletes from around the world, not by swimmers' nationality - so the competition will be fierce.

Due to the event there will be a number of pool closures which may affect you.

The Competition pool will be closed or operate at reduced hours during the following dates:

Competition pool closes at 6 pm on November 17th

Competition pool open at 25 metres on November 18th, 19th

Competition pool closes at 8.30 pm on November 20th

Competition pool closed on November 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th

Competition pool reopens at 4.30 pm on November 25th

The Training pool and gym will remain open throughout the dates above with no disruption.

Better Swim School lessons will run throughout the dates in the Training Pool.

The Tom Daley Diving Academy lessons will be cancelled on November 21st and 22nd, and lessons will be held in the dry dive on November 24th.

The crèche will be closed on November 20th, 21st and 22nd.

There are a number of Better swimming pools located in the area, the closest 50 metres pool is London Fields Lido (heated pool). For a full list of Better swimming pools, please check the website here.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience while this event takes place and we look forward to seeing you at the London Aquatics Centre soon.
