Denmark Road Sports Centre
Denmark Road Sports Centre brings sport and fitness to Manchester's student quarter, a short walk from the Whitworth Art Gallery. The sports hall hosts badminton, basketball and netball sessions all week, while our outdoor 3G pitch is where five-a-side football happens day and night. Indoor courts give you more space for games and training, and we run birthday parties for kids who love to kick a ball around. Football and basketball are what bring most people through the door, with regular club sessions and drop-in games. There's office space to rent if you need a base nearby. This facility is part of a unique collection of community and elite facilities governed by Manchester Active, a not for profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council.
