Better Club Games 2026 – Manchester

Join us for a celebration of sport, community and active ageing.

The Better Club Games in Manchester brings together local people aged 60+ to represent their Better leisure centres in a day of friendly competition and community spirit. 

You’ll be part of the national Better Club Games programme celebrating 20 years of active ageing across the UK.

It's only £4.50 to take part! This is to be paid in advance at your local centre. You will receive a T-shirt, light refreshments and a day of fun and games. Spectators are welcome to cheer on teams for £2. This can be paid on the day at the venue.

Senior Activity Sessions

Additional information

  • The centre is step free access and does have a lift to the first floor where events will be taking place. 
  • Disabled and general Parking available at the front of the centre and in the underground car park.  
  • Bring any additional clothing for your specific event e.g. swimming along with towel, water and any medications you may require throughout the day. 
  • Light snacks and hot drinks will be provided however please bring lunch items if you require something more substantial or have any specific dietary requirements. 
  • You do not have to be an expert in any sport to take part, just willing to give it a go!
