Customer Information - Major refurbishment coming soon!
The project will begin in late March/April 2026 and is expected to be completed in early 2027. During this period, the squash courts and indoor arena will be temporarily closed. The outdoor arena will remain open throughout.
We will be contacting all our users towards the end of February to update on the confirmed closure date, and provide information about what this means including alternative arrangements to enable sessions and lessons and courses can continue throughout the closure period.
Squash improvements include:
- Improvements to the court walls and flooring
- Lighting and mechanical and electrical upgrades
- Installation of a new seating area
- Redecoration
- A new matted floor for stretching
Indoor Arena improvements include:
- A new track overlay
- Upgrades to plant and toilet facilities
- New athletics equipment including high jump beds, pole vault beds and hurdles
