Last week, we hosted the 17th Joe Moran Veterans Track and Field Event.

The event has been running since 2008 in memory of Joe Moran and is open to registered club athletes aged 35 and over, bringing together veteran athletes from across the region to compete and celebrate the sport.

This year, Joe’s daughter, Jacqui, travelled from America to compete in the 100m race, making the occasion even more special for everyone involved.

It was a fantastic day of competition, camaraderie, and remembrance, and a fitting tribute to Joe’s lasting legacy within athletics.
