Swimming is a vital life skill that can help keep children safe in and around water while providing all-around exercise. That's why at Better Gym Sleaford we offer affordable children's swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. We run bespoke, small group foundation classes, the stages of which are below:
Red stage focuses on water confidence and fun! We develop skills like basic front crawl and backstroke leg action and floating in the water.
Amber stage grows knowledge by working on arm action, breaststoke, jumping in safely and develops safety.
Green stage removes the floatation aids and improves your childs strokes ready for them to progress into development stage at Sleaford Leisure Centre

Keep an eye out for our Swim School Short Courses over the school holidays.
Running Monday to Friday, half an hour every day with our qualified teachers gives children the consistency throughout the week to develop. We have lesson plans designed to help children at all levels develop their swimming techniques, build their confidence and let them have fun! These are perfect for introducing your child to the world of swimming or giving them that extra little boost to pass the stage they are currently at!

Meet Rosanna, our Area Swim School Lead for North Kesteven.
Rosanna brings with her a wealth of experience teaching children how to swim and have fun in the water. She has been in swim clubs, competed and has taught for 5+ years.
