As a charitable social enterprise, we’re dedicated to enhancing the services we provide to your local community. We’re excited to announce a major redevelopment of Fulwood Leisure Centre, bringing a range of new upgrades throughout the facility.
Reception Area
The reception area will be refreshed with new signage and customer information boards to keep you up to date with the latest developments at the centre. We will also be adding some images and colour to the corridors and circulation spaces to uplift the look and feel.
Cardio Equipment
Following last year's improvements to the gym - including functional and strength equipment, as well as some replacement treadmills - we have now upgraded the rest of our cardio kit. This icnludes all of your current favourites, along with the addition of two Technogym Stair Climbers.
Toddler's World
Our brand-new, two-level Toddler’s World features a range of fun and safe attractions, including: the Eye Spy Live Action feature, a slide and ball pit, a mirror infinity deck, rainbow panel, mini trampoline, rockers and wobbly character, brick kit, and a port hole deck.
Group Cycle Studio
We have transformed the previously unused space near the squash courts into a state-of-the-art Group Cycle Studio.
Features include:
- Latest branding and LED feature lighting for an immersive experience
- Air conditioning and fans to keep you cool while you work out
- Brand-new Technogym bikes, along with an updated class programme offering sessions for all abilities and fitness goals
Timeline of key milestones:
- 29th May: Soft Play closed
- From 29th May: Works began
- 30th May: Branding installed
- 7th July: Studio officially launched
Poolside and Changing Rooms
We've made significant improvements in these areas to enhance your experience and refresh the overall look of this space.
Features:
- New flooring throughout the changing village, health suite, and pool halls
- New decoration on pool hall walls for a modern look and feel
- Fixed seating for spectators in the viewing areas
Timeline of key milestones:
- 28th July – 7th September: Poolside and wet change area closed
- 28th July: Pool hall works began
- 1st September: Changing rooms & health suite reopened
- 8th September: Swimming pools reopened
