At Horley Leisure Centre, our extensive Senior Activities Programme is designed to support physical and mental wellbeing while providing a friendly and social environment for all.
We have a variety of sessions to suit every interest and ability, it’s the perfect way to stay active and connected. Plus, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, we host coffee mornings in the reception area with complimentary hot drinks and biscuits—an ideal opportunity to relax and chat with friends before, during or after your activities.

Swimming
Swimming is a great way to have a low impact full body work out. It is available every day in either a swim for all or swim for fitness session.
Swim for Fitness will operate with three double lanes available (Slow, Medium & Fast) and is for lane swimming only. Swim for all is more relaxed, with more of an open pool and few lanes.

Gym
The gym is open every day, with over 70 pieces of equipment available including cardio, functional and resistance, all abiulity levels are catered for.
Our friendly fitness instructors are available for help and support at any time.

Table Tennis
Our table tennis session are very popular and we offer several during the week. Come with a friend or individually, as it can be a fun way to socialise and make new acquintances. On our Thursday sessions our coffee morning will also be running with complimentary hot drinks and biscuits.

Pickleball
Pickleball is currently one of the fastest growing sports and combines elements of tennis and table tennis. It is played on the same dimensions as a doubles badminton court and then net is a similar height to short tennis. The game is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes in it.

Walking Football
Walking football is a modified version of traditional football that is played at a slower pace to accommodate older adults or those with mobility issues / returning to exercise.
Our sessions our delivered by a fully qualified football coach and include a mixture of drills and game play.

Short Mat Bowls
The game follows the basic principles of lawn bowls, whereby the aim is to get your bowl closer to the jack than your opponant.
