Sit-on-top Kayak Hire

Our sit on top kayaks are available to hire by the hour.  We have doubles and singles which make this a great family experience.  These craft are stable and low risk enabeling novice paddlers to get out on the water and explore Englands largest lake at your own pace.

From our base, you can explore the north end of Windermere with is many islands and abundent wild life.

Taster, half day and full day sessions

You can book a taster session for a couple of hours in kayaking or canoeing, or join us for a full day and learn the basics with one of our fully qualified instructors.  Please contact us for available dates

Kayak Hire

We have a fleet of Sit on Top kayaks at the centre available for you to hire.  These kayaks are stable and easy to use giving you the chance to explore the lake yourself.  Our instructors will give you a full induction and safety brief before you head out on your adventure.

Head off to one of the secluded beaches for a picnic, or explore the islands to the south of the centre.  This is adouble kayak great way to see the lake with friends and family!
