May Fitness Class Expansion

The Haydon Centre and Gym will be expanding our fitness class timetable in May. We will be adding classes throughout May to give our members an even broader range of ways to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. . A full list of the new classes can be seen below: 

Zumba Basics – 6:30pm-7:30pm, with Lucy starting Monday 09/05/2022 

Social Dance Basics – 1:30pm-2:15pm, with Laura starting Thursday 12/05/2022 

Group Cycle – 7:15pm-8pm, with Kira starting Thursday 05/05/2022 

Circuits Basics- 9:30are-10:30are, with Peter starting Sunday 29/05/2022 

Ballet Fit Basics- 12:45pm-1:30pm, with Nadia starting 30/05/2022

 

Ballet Fit combines basic ballet exercises with aspects of Yoga and Pilates to help improve coordination, posture and flexibility. This is achieved by focussing on exercise technique and body alignment while also targeting the large muscles of the legs, bum, lower back and abdominal muscles. You do not have to be a trained ballet dancer to take part in this fun yet challenging class.

All of our fitness classes are included in your Better Health membership. They are a fantastic way to diversify your fitness journey, a great way to make new friends and are a fun way to improve your physical as well as mental health.

Our Basics classes are suitable for all abilities, and are particularly good for beginners, older people or for anyone returning to exercise after a period away. 

All of our fitness classes can be adapted around a members individual requirements, simply arrive five minutes early to speak to the instructor about any health issues you may have. This will allow the instructor to introduce alternative exercises for you as well as answer any questions you may have before the class starts.
