Get Ready For The Team England National Sports Weekend at Wantage Leisure Centre

Come and join us in partnership with Team England at Wantage Leisure Centre for a weekend filled with free sports and fun family activities for everyone to enjoy.
Ready to unleash your sporting spirit? Members and non-member can jump in and experience the excitement of Commonwealth Games-inspired sports and activities. Book your spot in advance to enjoy a whole range of activities, including padel and pickleball; basketball, swimming and athletics.
Whether you're trying something completely new or rediscovering a sport you love, there's plenty of fun waiting for all ages and abilities.
Free National Sports Open Weekend Activities:
Saturday 18 July
Cardio Master Class (Group Cycle) – 8:00am – 8:45am
Pickleball Social – 10:00am – 12:00pm
Cardio Master Class (Circuits) – 9:00am – 9:45am
Gym Taster Session - 7.30am - 5pm
Adult & Junior Gym Taster Session - 9am - 3pm
Sunday 19 July
Mind & Body Master Class (Yoga) – 8:30am–9:30am
Gym Taster Session - 7.30am - 5pm
Adult & Junior Gym Taster Session - 9am - 3pm
These free sessions are a great way to try something new, build confidence in a supportive environment and explore the wide range of activities available at your local Better centre.
Regular Activities Running as Normal
Alongside the Team England National Sports Open Weekend activities, our regular programme will continue throughout the weekend, including:
Family Fun Swim
Swim for Fitness
Racket Sports (Squash, Badminton)
Bouncy Castle Sessions (Sunday 10:00am–11:00am)
Please note these sessions are not part of the free weekend offer and standard charges will apply.
