This Girl Can - Ski Session

We ran our This Girl Can 2026 Ski event yesterday evening (17th June 2026) 5.30pm-7.30pm. The event was a great success albeit very warm!  
 
The session was completely free and was a 2 hour instructor lead lesson.  
 
There was an excellent turnout for this session, we had women and girls return from previous years and also had plenty of people show up to give it a go for the first time. In total we had 35 attendees. It was great to see women and girls of all ages at the session, we had an age range of 6-57!  
 
We had 6 of our instructors in teaching the lesson. They all did an amazing job and we have had some positive feedback on social media, particularly about Mark.  
  
This is always a good session to introduce and promote the ski slope and usually results in return customers.  
 
I think going forward, there could be the potential to offer a women and girls only ski session more regularly - there is definitely the market there and it would be great to get involved directly with female sports specifically.  This will be something I'll look at when rewriting the 2026/27 programme ahead of September.  
 
Overall, everyone (staff and attendees) had a great time and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  
 
We look forward to hosting it again next year!
