PRICES

Tennis:

We have four indoor acrylic courts, three outdoor polymeric courts and also two floodlit outdoor synthetic grass courts – all of which are available to hire on a casual basis. So, whatever the weather, rain rarely stops play here at the tennis centre!

Astroturf:

The astroturf is a secure site with a car park and changing room pavilion alongside, making it a very safe and convenient venue. It is also fully floodlit for those darker winter nights.

The pitch can be booked all year round and we also offer a very popular ‘kickabout' rate for juniors and adults to use the pitch for a casual session.

We have spaces available during the day and in the evenings if you are looking for an after work booking. Group bookings are a great idea and very cost effective, so please contact us for further details on our pricing.

If you would like to hire the pitch for a sporting event, please do let us know and we can discuss rates and discounts. We are very keen to promote local community sport here and we may be able to assist you with PR opportunities for your event through our marketing department.

3G Pitch:

Our all-weather, all-sport, all year round pitch is now open; bookings are being taken at reception. Perfect for clubs, groups and a casual game with friends.

Netball:

Our fun netball sessions are now held at  UVHS Sports Hall on a Monday evening between 6pm and 7pm. Sessions are for ladies and girls aged 14 and above. These session will  be moving back to the Tennis Centre after April.

Crown Green Bowling:

Why not enjoy a spot of crown green bowling? We have our own private bowling green here at Ulverston which is available from 1st April until 1st October each year. The bowling green is in a quiet, relaxing space with access to the car park and changing pavilion/toilets.

We can provide bowling equipment for hire at the tennis centre just across the car park, so come along with your friends or family and enjoy a game. We also offer a very affordable bowling season ticket for those wanting to play more regularly.
