Appleby Leisure Centre on Chapel Street offers fitness and swimming for the whole community, just a short walk from Appleby train station. Our gym has cardio machines and weights to suit your routine, while the 25-metre pool and learner pool make this a great spot for swimmers of all ages. The learner pool is perfect for younger children building confidence in the water. Classes include group cycle, circuits and boxfit, with junior fitness sessions to get kids moving. We run women-only classes and swimming sessions, plus Aqua Splash activities and birthday parties. Our GP referral programme supports people managing health conditions, and we partner with local schools and Eden Valley Sports Partnership to keep the area active.
