Nutrition Tips

3 Nutrition Tips for This Month
1. Time your carbs
Try having more of your carbs around your training to support energy and performance.
2. Don’t overlook fibre
Aim to include a good source of fibre throughout the day to support digestion and keep meals satisfying.
3. Check your hydration
Feeling flat in the gym? Your hydration could be part of it. Keep fluids consistent throughout the day, not just during your workout.

Training and recovery tips

3 Tips for This Month 💪
1. Slow it down
Try controlled reps instead of rushing through your sets. More control = more quality.
2. Move between sessions
Recovery doesn’t have to mean doing nothing. Walk, stretch, or keep active on rest days.
3. Finish strong
Pick one exercise each session to really focus on improving - a few extra quality reps can add up.

Health Spotlight

September is Suicide Prevention Month - a reminder that mental health deserves the same attention and care as our physical health.
The gym can be a great place to support your wellbeing, but it’s important to remember that you don’t have to have everything together.
A few simple ways to look after yourself and others:
Check in: Ask a friend, training partner or colleague how they’re really doing.
Stay connected: Make time for people, even when you don’t feel like socialising.
Talk about it: If things feel overwhelming, speak to someone you trust or a professional.
Listen without judgement: If someone opens up, give them your time and take them seriously.
Look after the basics: Sleep, movement, food and time away from stress can all support your overall wellbeing.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out for support. You don't have to face it alone.
