Bath & North East Somerset Council appointed Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) to operate its leisure facilities from July 2015. The contract will deliver an estimated £17 million of investment to modernize and upgrade the Council’s leisure centers.
Keynsham Leisure Centre will see an investment in 2018 to refurb the current swimming pool, build a learner pool, and improve the fitness suite and studio space.
Bath Sports and Leisure Centre will see an £8m investment in summer 2016 through to 2017 which will include new and innovative products for the centre such as Ten Pin Bowling, Trampoline Park and Spa Facilities as well as modernizing the swimming pool, changing rooms, Sports Hall and Fitness Offering.
The new contract will also cover Culverhay Leisure Centre, Chew Valley Leisure Centre, Odd Down Sports Ground, Bath Approach Golf Course and Entry Hill Golf Course and the Pavilion.
