After a busy start to the school term, your children have earned some time out, and so have you.

At our Better centres across Bath and North East Somerset, we’ve just about got it all: from our trampoline and bowling lanes, to cycle tracks, swimming pools,  3G pitches, roller skating, badminton courts and golf courses. With so many exciting experiences to try, there’s something for all ages and interests.

If your kids are in need of some serious fun this half term, bring them to Better.


Holiday Camp 

Better Bath Sports and Leisure Centre now run an exciting holiday camp programme and offer a number of fun activities to keep your kids active and entertained! 

Activities: Bowling, Swimming, Trampolining in the Trampoline Park, and team games in the sports hall.

Times: Drop off will be between 8am and 8.30am with collection at 4pm. (Monday – Friday only)

Age range: 8-14 years old only

Lunch: Children can bring their own lunch, however lunch options are available from our Better Diner for an additional £5.

Options include:

  • Sandwich box – sandwich, raisins, piece of fruit, and free refills on squash or water
  • Half Pizza, piece of fruit, and free refills on squash or water

Price: £25 a day or £100 for a week. (Extra £5 per day if lunch is included). 




Trampoline park

Bounce, dodge and dive into a whole heap of fun at Better Extreme, Bath.

The park features will allow you to battle it out with your friends in the wipeout area,  dunk some hoops, dive in to the foam pits and test your reaction skills on our dodge ball court. There really is something to keep children and adults of all ages active and entertained.




Ten Pin Bowling

Bath Sports and Leisure Centre now has its very own 8 lane bowling alley!

These superbly designed LED lit lanes will provide you with all new bowling games to keep the whole family entertained, whether you simply want to strike it lucky in a standard game or branch out with our all new Angry Birds game, we will definitely leave you feeling bowled over.

Ideal for a some family fun, bowling is entertainment for all ages.




Swimming sessions at Culverhay Leisure Centre and Bath Sports and Leisure Centre

Treat the children to some proper family time in one of our pools. A good family swimming session just brings out the best in everyone. So for a day filled with fun and packed with entertainment, look up your nearest pool and take to the water with the whole family. 







Outdoor activities at Odd Down Sports Ground

Come rain or shine, our 3G pitches and cycling track at Odd Down Sports Ground are a great way to get some fresh air and blow out those cobwebs! Drop in sessions for these activities are available for just £1! Availability varies day to day so please contact the centre on 01225 300420 in advance.


Sports hall bookings

Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, Chew Valley Leisure Centre and Culverhay Leisure Centre all have sport halls great for family game of badminton or table tennis. You can check availability and book courts online too.




Junior Golf

You don't need to be pro to give our golf courses a go. Families and beginners are very welcome. Bath Approach Golf Course is the perfect place for youngsters to learn how to pitch and putt whilst Entry Hill Golf Course provides a greater challenge for the next Tiger Woods! Club hire is also available and there is no strict dress code.

Roller skating

Get your skates on! Skating round Bath Pavilion is super fun, especially with disco lights and music on. The sessions are family friendly and are supervised with a skating marshall. Skate hire is also available. You can book online.
