Better Swim School
Moving up to Better Swim School will help your child develop their swimming skills and boost their confidence within the aquatic environment.

Foundation: Aged 4 and over
Our Foundation swimming lessons are designed for school-aged children who are beginners or completely new to swimming. These lessons will teach them how to be safe in and around water.

Description:
Teaching pupils the essential swimming skills to ensure they learn to be safe in and around water. Learning the basic techniques for all 4 strokes, achieving 10 metre on Front Crawl and Backstroke by the end of their Green milestones.

Development – ages 5+
Here we will work to assess each pupils ability to progress in talent pathways and will also contribute to them achieving their Bronze, Silver and Gold milestone awards.

Description:
Teaching pupils advanced swimming skills, developing their techniques on all 4 strokes to create efficient and effective swimmers who are also able to swim 25m unaided. These lessons will cover more swimming essentials including an introduction to aquatic sports and basic water survival and rescue skills.

Academy:
The final level of our children’s swimming lessons, Academy classes will help your child develop further and work towards achieving their own personal goals in the pool.

Description:
Supporting and developing your child to achieve their own person goals in the pool. Setting personal targets related to challenge award in fitness swimming, personal survival and junior lifesaving and other aquatic sports. Here we will continue to work with other partner clubs to assess each pupils ability to progress in talent pathways should they choose to.
