SEND Yoga promoted at Council Yoga event
In Early July The Bedford Yoga and Wellbeing in the Park event hosted by our council colleagues provided a welcoming and inclusive opportunity for residents to improve their physical health, mental wellbeing and social connections in a relaxed outdoor environment.
For the Bedford Better partnership, a key element of the event was the disability yoga session. Not only did it showcase the SEND yoga that takes place at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness, but it importantly demonstrated the importance of ensuring wellbeing activities are accessible to everyone.
