Olympia Leisure Centre is excited to announce the launch of its new Junior Strength Programme in partnership with the Brand X Method. The programme is designed to help young people aged 11-17 years old to build strength, improve their fitness levels and learn about proper exercise technique and form within a gym environment.

The Junior Strength Programme will be tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each individual, with a focus on fun and engaging workouts that encourage participants to stay active and enjoy physical activity. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for young people to learn about the benefits of exercise and develop healthy habits that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

The Brand X Method is a well-known and respected fitness program for kids and teens. It is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with a focus on helping young people develop physical literacy and a lifelong love of fitness. The program has been used by schools, youth organisations and fitness centres around the world.

The Junior Strength Programme will run every Monday and Thursday from 4.30-5.15pm at Olympia Leisure Centre. Participants will work with Brand X qualified coaches to ensure that they are learning proper technique and form, and that their workouts are tailored to their individual needs and abilities.

For £19.50 a month, the membership associated with this programme offers:

  • Two exclusive strength training sessions per week. These coached sessions will teach beginners how to lift weights safely and effectively to build strength and improve fitness.  Each session lasts for 45 minutes and will take place on the gym floor.
  • Free access to Junior Gym sessions across all our better facilities in Belfast.
  • Free access to our swimming pools anywhere in Belfast.
  • 30% discount on racquet sports.
  • 30% discount on other activities such as Aqua Splash, Air Venture and Surf and Slide.

This new programme will be starting on Monday 22nd May, we will run 4 taster sessions on 22nd, 24th, 29th May and 1st June. These sessions will be free for anyone to join however there will be limited availability within each session therefore you can only select one session.
