Join us for National Fitness Day
National Fitness Day is happening on Wednesday 24th September 2025! It’s a yearly event run by ukactive that celebrates how getting active can help us feel healthier and happier. Since kicking off in 2011, it’s brought millions of people across the UK together to move, stretch, dance, and have fun. While it's all about enjoying being active on the day, it’s also a great reminder that staying fit is part of a bigger journey toward feeling good in the long run.
This year’s theme, “Powered by You!”, puts the focus on you - celebrating the power we all have to take small, lasting steps toward a stronger, healthier future.
To celebrate this event Better Gym Brentwood will be offering complimentary workout sessions, ranging from HIIT and Group Cycle to spin classes.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance either via the BetterUK app or our website. Spaces can be booked up to 7 days in advance.

What is HIIT?
HIIT involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by brief recovery periods. The goal is to get your heart rate up quickly and keep it elevated, which can burn a lot of calories in a short time and improve both cardiovascular fitness and muscle endurance.
What is Boxfit?
A Boxfit class is a boxing-inspired fitness workout that combines elements of boxing training with cardio, strength, and conditioning exercises - but without actual fighting or sparring.
