Cambridge Ice Arena Summer Skating Camps 2026
This summer, Cambridge Ice Arena are hosting multiple Summer Camps over August!
3rd August: Robin Cousins and Mark Naylor Coffee skate and Skating Camp
We are very excited to announce our first camp of August- on the 3rd August Olympic Champion Robin Cousins MBE and internationally renowned choreographer Mark Naylor are hosting a one day skating camp. The day is split into two activities:
Robin and Mark will be running a Coffee Skate social session. This relaxed one-hour session is open to skaters from Skate UK Level 4 and above, offering the opportunity to skate alongside Robin and Mark, receive tips and guidance on the ice, and round off the morning with the traditional post-skate coffee and chat.
To follow, they will be running an advanced skating camp open to skaters from Skills 1 through to Basic Novice and above. The camp combines on-ice coaching with off-ice sessions, giving the skaters the opportunity to learn from Robin and Mark as they share the knowledge and experience gained throughout their careers in competitive skating, professional performance and choreography.
15th August- Skills & Drills Hockey Camp with AHD Hockey
On the 15th August, we are hosting a Skills & Drills hockey camp in partnership with AHD Hockey! We will also have two fantastic guest coaches, ex GB skaters Pete Winn and Chrissie Newman.
This one-day camp will focus on developing skating, stick handling skills, game fundamentals, fun drills and plenty of exciting hockey activities.
The camp is open to both Junior and Adult skaters of all abilities.
24th, 25th, 26th August Summer Figure Skating Camp
We are excited to host a 3-day skating camp from the 24th-26th August!
The camp is open to all skaters who are Skate UK Platinum and above and is open to all ages. Our camp offers a range of on-ice and off-ice training sessions, helping to develop your skills and strength.
The camp will be hosted by our wonderful resident professional Ice Coaches.
The camp includes lunch each day catered by CamCatSol cafe at Cambridge Ice Arena. There will be a range of tasty and healthy meal choices ranging from Lasagne to Sandwiches.
