Jesus Green Lido Summer Events 2026

Summer is set to make a splash at Jesus Green Lido, with a fantastic line-up of events bringing together swimming, music, wellbeing, entertainment and community spirit throughout June and July. 

The season kicks off in style on Saturday 21st June with a special Summer Solstice Celebration. To mark the longest day of the year, the lido will be open from 5:00am until 10pm, giving swimmers the chance to enjoy everything from an early morning sunrise dip to a relaxing evening swim. The festivities continue with a Zumba session from 5pm to 5.45pm, before the much-loved Chesterton Community College Folk Fiddle Band returns to the poolside, performing live from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. 

The following weekend sees the return of one of the lido's most popular events, the Dusk till Dawn 12-Hour Relay on 27th–28th June. Team places may have sold out, but there are still opportunities to join existing teams. Following last year's incredible event, which raised more than £30,000 for Level Water, excitement is building once again, with over 180 swimmers already signed up to take part in this overnight swimming challenge. 

July brings something completely new to the lido with the first-ever Floating Sound Bath on 9th July 7.30pm-9pm. Combining the calming effects of water with immersive sound therapy, this unique event promises an unforgettable evening of relaxation. 

Movie lovers won't want to miss Cinema Night on 10th July, with doors opening at 8.30pm for a special outdoor screening of the family favourite Shark Tale. Bring a blanket and a chair, settle in under the stars and enjoy a fin-tastic evening beside the pool. 

Then, on 24th July, it's time to swap swimming strokes for punchlines as Comedy Night takes centre stage, promising an evening packed with laughs in one of Cambridge's most unique venues.
