Junior Gym
Junior gym is a dedicated session for children between 11 and 17 years old to introduce them to working out in the gym environment and help them start their journey towards a healthy and active lifestyle.
All sessions are supervised, with a member of the Fitness team present, to ensure they are working out safely, offering guidance and advice for the junior to benefit fully from these sessions.
To participate, it is mandatory to have completed a Junior Gym Induction, pre-book through the online platform or app. Sessions are limited to 60 minutes per person.
Junior Gym days and times:
Monday-Firday: 15:10-17:30
Saturday & Sunday - 10:30-12:30
Please note that all sessions must now be pre-booked via our online booking system or our app.
You can access these sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis or for best value for money we recommend a Membership as this also includes access to our Junior Fitness Classes, along with access to the swimming pools.
Junior Classes
We are now running some Fitness Classes just for Juniors.
Every Monday we have Strength and Conditioning 3.45pm-4.15pm and Box fit 4.30pm-5pm. Bring your friends for a fun workout and let off some steam after your day at school.
All classes are run by a fully qualified instructor. Who will help you and motivate you on your fun fitness journey.
Adult & Junior Gym
Our adult and child session, lets any pre paid junior train with a pre paid adult (so both require a valid monthly membership but can train outside of junior gym hours) Adults do not need to book as session as they are booked with the junior, but must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times.
Session days & times:
Monday to Friday: 7pm-9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 1pm-3pm
Supervision: Please note that the adult/parent must actively supervise the child at all times and takes responsibility for the child's conduct and safe use of machines. Only children between 11-17 years are permitted in the session, and it is limited to one child per one supervising adult.
Junior Gym Induction
All juniors are required to book and attend a junior gym induction before attending there first junior gym sessions. Junior inductions are conducted by our level 2 qualified Fitness Instructors in small groups of no more than three people. The induction will go over health & safety information, explaining the gym etiquette. Demonstrate the equipment that juniors are allowed to use during their junior gym sessions and how to use this equipment safely and help them on there fitness journey.
