Operated by Better, the centre is opening its doors to anyone needing a break from the heat, offering a safe, comfortable environment for residents to cool off.

With its large air‑conditioned foyer, The Hive provides a refreshing escape from hot weather. Visitors are welcome to sit inside, relax in the cool air, refill water bottles, or simply take a moment to recover from the heat. The centre’s atmosphere will ensure a welcoming environment for anyone who may be struggling to stay cool at home or who needs a moment of relief during high‑temperature days.

Alongside the Cool Space area, The Hive also has an on‑site café, where a range of beverages can be purchased for those who’d like to enjoy a drink while they cool down.

While the foyer space is freely available as a designated Cool Space, The Hive’s other facilities, including the air‑conditioned gym and two swimming pools, can be booked at a cost or accessed through a Better membership.
