Whether you are an experienced gym user or a complete beginner, prior to using the gym you must complete an induction with one of our highly qualified fitness instructors. Depending on your experience, this can take 15 minutes or for a full induction, 1 hour. This also gives you the opportunity to get advice about other activities the centre offers which could help you achieve your fitness goals.
Customers with pre-paid memberships have the option to book re-focus sessions every six weeks, helping you to stay on track at achieving your fitness goals. Did you know that keeping your workout more varied and challenging will actually keep you much fitter?

Gym Inductions
Our gym floors are staffed with qualified fitness instructors, they are there to assist you with your work outs or just for simple question to help you along the way. You can choose between a 30-minute basic induction, where our instructors will give you a brief introduction to the gym, the equipment and health & safety advice, or a 1-hour Total Induction, where they will discuss your goals, write you a programme and give you an overall health MOT.
Refocus Sessions
If you need extra support with your workouts our refocus session are a great way to get you on the right track. They are designed to refresh your fitness programme every six weeks so you get the most out of your workouts. Our Fitness Instructors will work with you to upgrade your programme to suit your current fitness goals, abilities and lifestyle. All of that is to keep you motivated and focused on what you want to achieve. We also offer 'Ask the instructor' sessions where Fitness Instructor will be available on the gym floor to advise and answer any questions you may have.
Give it a Go programme
Whether you are looking to improve your health, lose weight or work on your muscles. This programme is suitable for all individuals who have specific goals and need that extra support to stay motivated. The programme starts with a 40 minutes induction and an interview to discuss your expectations. Next, the fitness instructor will create an activity programme tailored to your needs. The programme finishes with a Give it a Go assessment that can be booked six weeks after the induction to check your progress and give you an opportunity to ask any further questions you may have.
Personal Training
Our qualified personal trainers are ready to guide you through your journey to a more active and healthier you. They will provide you with expertise on nutrition, lifestyle management, bespoke training programmes and a support network to help you achieve your goals faster and to continue improving. Personal training sessions must be booked in advance directly with the personal trainer and paid additionally to the gym entry. To book or for more information, please get in touch with the trainers.
Junior Gym
Junior gym is a dedicated session for children aged between 11-17 to use the gym facilities, with daily after-school sessions available and drop-in weekends. Juniors are required to complete an induction before being allowed to partake in the junior gym sessions. We also offer Adult and Junior Gym sessions, where every pre-paid adult can bring one junior member to train with them for free.
