Before using the gym, all members — whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced gym‑goer — must complete an induction with one of our highly qualified fitness instructors.
Your induction will take around 15 minutes if you already have gym experience, or up to 1 hour for a full, in‑depth introduction. This is also a great chance to get personalised advice on other activities that can support your fitness goals.
If you’re a pre‑paid member, you can also book re‑focus sessions every six weeks. These sessions help you stay motivated, track your progress, and refresh your workout plan.

Gym Inductions
Our gym floors are always staffed with qualified Fitness Instructors who are here to support you — whether you need help with your workout or just have a quick question.
You can choose from two induction options:
• 30‑minute Basic Induction
A brief introduction to the gym, equipment, and essential health & safety guidance.
• 1‑hour Total Induction
A more in‑depth session where an instructor will discuss your goals and create a personalised fitness programme.
Refocus Sessions
If you need extra support with your workouts our refocus session are a great way to get you on the right track. They are designed to refresh your fitness programme every six weeks so you get the most out of your workouts. Our Fitness Instructors will work with you to upgrade your programme to suit your current fitness goals, abilities and lifestyle. All of that is to keep you motivated and focused on what you want to achieve. We also offer 'Ask the instructor' sessions where Fitness Instructor will be available on the gym floor to advise and answer any questions you may have.
Give it a Go programme
Whether you want to improve your health, lose weight or build muscle, this programme is ideal for anyone with specific goals who needs extra support and motivation.
Your journey begins with a 40‑minute induction and goal‑setting interview, where you’ll discuss your expectations with a fitness instructor. They’ll then create a personalised activity programme tailored to your needs.
Six weeks later, you’ll complete a ‘Give it a Go’ assessment, giving you the chance to check your progress and ask any further questions.
