Our swim sessions are 50 minutes long. 

Walk-ins may be available, please see reception but to avoid disappointment during the summer months, it's best to book a swim session in advance. 

No, umbrellas, deck chairs, large inflatables etc... are not permitted at Finchley Lido.  

You'll find a small hut by the outdoor pool where we sell drinks, light snacks and hot paninis.

Please note food from outside establishments are not permitted. This includes alcohol

You can book one swim session per day. Multiple bookings can be made during the week, as long as they are not on the same day.

Finchley Lido is not heated and the water temperature depends on the weather. When it's hot, the outdoor pool can reach between 25-29 degrees.

You'll find changing cubicles and lockers where you can leave your belongings at Finchley Lido. 

The lockers take a £1 coin which is then refunded after use or you can use a locker token, which you can purchase for £1 at reception.

A non-member adult swim cost £8.30 and a non-member child swim costs £5.20. We do have a number of membership options, which can be discussed with reception at Finchley Lido. 

Yes, children are welcome at our Swim for All sessions, however, our swim safety rules must apply.

Please follow these rules to avoid disappointment of no entry.

Under 8’s and non-swimmers under 16 must be accompanied by a competent adult swimmer.

No more than two under 8’s or non-swimmers under 16 to each  competent adult swimmer.

The competent adult swimmer must actively supervise under 8’s and non-swimmers under 16.

Under 8’s and all non-swimmers must remain in shallow water.

We strongly recommend under 8’s and all non-swimmers use armbands and/or an appropriate buoyancy aid.

Advice to adult non swimmers:

It is recommended that non-swimmers over the age of 16 are accompanied in the water by a competent adult swimmer.

No, towel hire is not available at Finchley Lido.

Yes, we do, the price of goggles ranges from £6 to £36, our swimming costumes range from £12 to £40 and our swimming hats are £6. 

Parking is free in the retail park where you'll find Finchley Lido. 

Changing rooms are available. On the poolside, we have a mixed changing village and a family-changing area. We also have male and female dryside changing rooms for our gym and studio users.

No, Finchley Lido's outdoor pool is closed when it rains. Your Swim for All booking is then valid for the indoor pool. 

We have women-only sessions on Thursdays between 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm and men-only sessions on Sunday between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm these run in the indoor pools and not in the lido.
