At Talacre we offer bookable indoor basketball courts for hire.
Basketball involves a lot of starting and stopping. So whilst not renowned as an aerobic sport, it’s still a great workout to help you:
- Improve balance and co-ordination
- Build or tone up muscle
- Develop concentration and self-discipline
- Build strength
- Burn calories - an hour of basketball can use 630-750 calories
At Talacre, we provide junior basketball sessions, for hoopers looking to improve their basketball skills, whilst in a fun, friendly environment!
The sessions run every Tuesday at 5pm-6pm or 6pm-7pm and Saturday at 11:15am-12:15pm (this session is better suited to beginners) and 12:30pm-2pm, in the sports hall at Talacre Community Sports Centre. You are free to come along to any and every session of your choosing.
Simply come along to the centre to complete a registration form and pay at reception. Please note that all courses are bookable on a termly basis only.
