CROYDON CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF GLL WITH SPECIAL OPEN WEEKEND
Join us for an exciting open weekend of 90’s themed activities at your local Croydon leisure centre where we celebrate 30 years of GLL’s passion and purpose across the UK. Bring your friends and family along for celebrations and fun between Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July 2023.
Activity highlights;
- 90’s themed pool parties with floats and music from the 1993 era
- Free Open Day Swim for All sessions
- 90s themed Group exercise classes
- 30th Birthday cake competition - challenge our staff to bake the best cake
- For younger children arts and crafts featuring ‘Design the best 30th GLL Birthday card’
- Challenges and prizes to be won throughout the day

| Waddon Leisure Centre | Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd July | FREE Swim for All sessions from 15:00 - 17:00 on Saturday and 09:00 - 11:00 on Sunday. 1990's music played in the gym, A 1990's Pool inflatable session on Sunday from 14:30-16:00, a ‘Design the best 30th GLL Birthday card’ at the Better Cafe Corner and 90s fancy dress fitness classes. |
| Thornton Heath Leisure Centre | Saturday 22nd July | A 1990's Pool inflatable session (all ages) from 12:00-13:00, a special Outdoor Group Cycle class (adults only) at 12:15 with Grayce and Taekwondo Tasters sessions (all ages) from 13:15-15:15. |
| South Norwood Leisure Centre | Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd July | FREE Swim for All sessions from 13:00 - 14:30 on Saturday and 14:00 – 16:00 on Sunday. A weekend of 90s themed activities which will include group exercise classes delivered along with 1993 music , 90s themed pool swim sessions & 90’s music played throughout the centre. |
