Important News Regarding No Shoe Policy in Changing Village

At Waddon Leisure Centre, we are dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all our visitors. To achieve the highest possible standards in our wet-side facilities, we are introducing a strict No Shoe Policy throughout the Changing Village, effective from Thursday 28th May.

To prepare for this new standard, the area will undergo an intensive three-day deep clean immediately prior to the policy launch. This ensures that the new "no shoe" rule begins on a pristine surface. Following this deep clean, the policy will be strictly enforced by our team to maintain these improved conditions.

Outdoor footwear is a primary source of dirt, debris, and bacteria. By removing shoes, we can significantly improve floor cleanliness and provide a more sanitary environment for everyone using the pool and changing facilities.

From 28th May, all users must remove their outdoor footwear before entering the Changing Village. You may choose one of the following options:

- External Storage: Use the designated shoe storage racks located immediately outside the Changing Village entrance.

- Locker Storage: Carry your shoes in your hand and place them securely inside a locker.

- Internal flip flops: Feel free to bring with you your own pair of internal flips flops.

*Please note that in our effort to remain environmentally conscious, single-use plastic overshoes will no longer be available.
