On 30th April 2020 a group of Organ Donation Specialist Nurses from London Organ Donation Services Team swam 100 lengths for #CaptainTom100 Challenge to raise awareness about Organ Donation. They donned fluorescent London Fields Lido swimming caps to match their Organ Donation t-shirts and @usualobjections also specially commissioned a pair of pink trunks for the occasion. The team work in hospitals around the capital supporting donors and their families when a decision is made to donate at the end of life. Thanks to the London Fields Lido team for looking after them during their swim. For more information go to www.organdonation.nhs.uk. @London_ODT.

Tim Owen, who organised the swim, said: "Thanks so much again London Fields Lido for supporting our swim. We had a brilliant time. We swam our 100 lengths and actually - and you never know, with a load more of our team feeling like they missed out - we might try and do something similar again at some point in the future!"
