Join us for our National Sports Open Weekend
Looking for something active, fun and completely free for your child this weekend? Join us at Mabley Green ATP on Saturday 18th July as part of National Sports Open Weekend for an exciting morning of football coaching and games. Delivered in partnership with Wise Youth, this free community event is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 6–16 to get involved in football in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether they're taking their first steps into the game or already play regularly, everyone is encouraged to come along and join the fun.
The session will include structured football coaching, fun skills activities, small-sided matches, and the chance to meet local coaches. Attendees will also be able to find out more about the regular football programmes available at Mabley Green ATP.

What do I need to bring?
Please wear suitable sports clothing, football boots or astro trainers, and shin pads. We also recommend bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated during the session. All coaching equipment will be provided.
What if I have a health condition?
Please let a member of staff know about any health conditions before taking part so we can support you safely during the session.
What if I have never played football before?
No problem. The session is designed for young people aged 6-16 of all abilities, and our qualified coaches will be on hand throughout the morning to provide guidance, support and answer any questions. Whether you're new to football or already play regularly, everyone is welcome to join in.
Do I have to be a member?
No – our National Sports Open Weekend activities are open to everyone aged 6–16. There is no membership requirement to attend this free event.

Do I need to book?
No, you can just turn up on the day and play.
