We're pleased to announce that the refurbishment work within both the main and programmable gyms is now complete!
We've completed a full redecoration of both the main gym and programmable gym areas with the addition of our vibrant new graphics which indicate your key workout areas.
A large amount of equipment has now also been replaced so whether you want to train your core, improve your strength or start a new programme using the new functional kit, Phoenix can now support your fitness goals and support you on your fitness journey. Here's a breakdown everything we have improved:
- Increased our functional offering with more space and the latest functional equipment
- Created a dedicated stretch area in the main gym
- Added new machines including skillmill, stair climber and rowers
- Added a new area where we can run dedicated group cycling classes

New to the Gym? Or maybe you need a refresher or have specific goals to achieve? Here at Phoenix Fitness Centre , we want to support you on every step pf your journey to a healthier and fitter you. You can choose between a 30-minute basic induction, where our instructors will give you a brief introduction to the gym, the equipment and health & safety advice, or a 1-hour Total Induction, where they will discuss your goals, write you a programme and give an overall health MOT.
Whether you are a pro or a beginner, a gym workout is a great way to stay fit and healthy. From cardio and resistance to functional training, our gym has everything you need to support your goals.
Gym sessions that are dedicated for females who want to enjoy the gym in a private environment and feel more confident during their workouts. It's a great session to socialize and meet other like-minded women.
Junior Gym induction is suitable for juniors 11-17 years old who would like to join the gym during the Junior Gym sessions. It's a 30-minute session with a qualified fitness instructor who will demonstrate suitable machines and exercises.
Here at Phoenix Fitness Centre, we also offer junior gym sessions for 11-17 years olds. Sessions are supervised by qualified staff who are always ready to help and answer any questions you may have.
Working together will not only support your and your child's health and fitness goals but also allow you to spend valuable time together. Juniors can join these sessions for free if accompanied by a pre-paid adult.
Our refocus sessions are designed to refresh your fitness programme every six weeks so you get the most out of your workouts. Our Fitness Instructors will work with you to upgrade your programme to suit your current fitness goals, abilities and lifestyle. All of that is to keep you motivated and focused on what you want to achieve. We also offer ‘Ask the instructor’ sessions where the Fitness Instructor will be available on the gym floor to advise and answer any questions you may have.
Whether you are looking to improve your health. Lose weight or work on your muscles. This programme is suitable for all individuals who have specific goals and need that extra support to stay motivated. The programme starts with a 40 minutes induction and an interview to discuss your expectations. Next, the fitness with Give it a Go assessment that can be booked six weeks after the inductions to check your progress and give you an opportunity to ask any further questions you may have.
