Gym Workout

Located within The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena is our small but fully equipped gym. The 26 station gym offers a variety of equipment; from cardiovascular to resistance to strength training and more.

The gym is open to anyone who is wishing to get fit and stay active, as well as athletes to help with their training and with access to the track.

We offer a variety of memberships including adult, junior, corporate and concessionary. If you have a Better Health UK membership you have access to use our gym too.

Junior Gym

Here at The Alex Yee Ladywell Arena we offer dedicated Junior Gym sessions for children aged 11-17 years of age. Youngsters can work out, keep fit and make new friends; all under the watchful eyes of our experienced fitness instructors who are on hand to supervise and assist by ensuring juniors know how to work out safely. As part of their membership, juniors will have access to:

Bikes
Treadmills
Rowers
Cross trainers
And much more!

The dedicated Junior Gym sessions run 3pm-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 1pm-3pm at weekends.

For any new members an Induction is required before they can start working out, so make sure you book your induction straightaway.

Gym Inductions

If you're new to the gym or looking to refresh your programme you'll be able to book a gym induction with us. One of our qualified Fitness Instructors, will help tailor a bespoke gym programme based on your specific goals and giving you better results. This will be done on a 1-2-1 basis.

Our gym floor always has one of our friendly team on hand to help you with any queries or support by introducing you to our range of equipment and machines ensuring you make the most of every workout.

Refocus Sessions

Looking to refresh or change your programme? Our Refocus sessions are developed specially to refresh your workout programme every 6 weeks so you get the most out of your workouts.

Our Fitness Instructors will work with you to design a dedicated programme to suit your fitness goals, ability and what you want to achieve.Our refocus sessions will ensure you continue to get the most out of the gym.
